Hotel Castillo de Javier

I am on Camino de Santiago #3. I stayed at this great accommodation on my first camino last year. I'm hiking 2 different routes this trip, the Del Norte and Primitivo. In May of this year I hiked Caminho Portugués. Pamplona isn't on .my itinerary, but since I was so happy with this accommodation last year, I decided to use Pamplona as my camino prep location. The fact that I come back, and extmy stay here, says more than anything I could write. Location, great staff, and friendly vibe make this a great stay for me.

I liked the location because it was close to all the action. I went during the festival of San Fermin, so it was very busy, crowded, and noisy(singing, etc). My room, however, was exceptionally quiet. The kitchen was open almost all the time, and staff was helpful.

Hotel in the heart of the action near the historic centre. Easy to walk around. I didn't have breakfast but I did have one menu de dia which was excellent, and good value for money. It has it's own cafe so food is available all day if wanted. Clean comfortable place with helpful staff. Room was small but comfortable. Wifi was free. Would stay here again, should I return to Pamplona

A warm welcome and an excellent location in the old town allowing us access by foot to all the "must-sees" of beautiful Pamplona. Rooms above a restaurant/bar and on a busy street full of tapas bars but very soundproof for a great night's sleep.

This property is exactly the type you want to take if you want to feel the real heartbeat of the place where you have arrived. It is simple, but in the same time affordable, clean and wonderfully located. I enjoyed my stay and the bonus was an air conditioner because I was there in the mid of 40 C heat wave. Like this, my room was also my shelter and a place to allow me for a wonderful night rest after the exploration of this wonderful town. My recommendations for this small, but nice property.
